Soccer Shots Internship

At Soccer Shots, we are looking for the next key leader who wants to make a positive impact on children's lives through sport!

Working with children is something we don’t take lightly, and it’s imperative that you have a passion for teaching children, and understand how to use sports as a way to educate and enrich, and enjoy being active outside! Beyond the field, our team leaders contribute holistically to the growth of our business through vital contributions in project management (sales, scheduling and marketing) and staff management (hiring, training, and evaluating). We strive to be the BEST 30-45 minutes of every child's week and to serve every child in our region with their first soccer experience. If this excites you, you could be our next team leader!

WE INVEST IN YOU:

Every Soccer Shots Coach gets trained and certified through a comprehensive program based on early childhood education principles!
We make sure our coaches stay at the top of their game through ongoing training and evaluations.
We provide opportunities to grow personally and professionally using GIANT Leadership Tools and EOS organizational systems.
Soccer Shots is an international franchise, where many owners and directors started out as coaches and interns.

This internship requires 25+ hours of work per week (depending on your university requirements) that WILL require work on weekday evenings and weekends to serve families when they can play! Expect to coach at least 15 hours per week with children. However, we provide ample flexibility for administrative time, and all team leaders are currently working remotely for office and administrative responsibilities.

Compensation: $15/hour + $1500 Tuition Reimbursement.
**Eligibility for tuition reimbursement is dependent upon completion of a minimum of 500 hours in good standing while completing university course credits during the internship term.

Soccer Shots Philadelphia Area is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. As Philadelphia Area, we serve Philadelphia, Camden County, and Lower Bucks County families with our unique soccer experience at more than 100 local sites and with more than 10000 local families in the last two years. Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program for children ages 2 to 8. Our goal is to leave a positive and lasting impact on kids through introduction to sports and activity.

Our coaches are at the heart of what we do, our real MVPs if you will. They create smiles and deliver character-building FUN by teaching age-appropriate soccer skills to kids in the local community.

Training - We make sure our coaches are comfortable on the field by offering informative online & in-person training to equip coaches with our curriculum and helpful (developmentally appropriate) coaching techniques.
Curriculum – Our curriculum is FULL of the stuff kids and parents love! Our program is curriculum based, so coaches are provided with session guides and mobile friendly resources to help you deliver the Soccer Shots experience.
Ongoing feedback and growth opportunities - We’re a growing business and are always looking to find passionate and reliable team members to help us continue to grow.
Equipment - We provide everything you need for a Soccer Shots session in an on-the-go bag that fits in the trunk of a car. It’s why we can have Soccer Shots in convenient locations like school gyms, classrooms, outdoor spaces, local parks and community centers.
